Fifty Shades of Grey is finally releasing its trailer and it looks really intense but I can't go by the trailer. Sometimes these movies show the greatest parts during the trailer. But I will try to be optimistic! The trailer was so exclusive that it was first released on the Today Show. Which was interesting. I mean there was plenty of hype and buzz. No need for the exclusivity. The internet would've spread this faster than the Today Show. I mean seriously! Anyway for your enjoyment (and I know I'm late) here is the trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey:

Many times I've wanted to read this book series and I actually have the first book. I just haven't taken the time to sit down and read it. It seems very much like an extremely sexy yet naive coming of age story. Which doesn't appeal to me. I started reading it a while back but I just didn't finish it. However I want to read it before I see the movies. If this movie does well which I expect it to, then the second and third books will be put into film form as well. And just for a little bit more of an incentive: Beyonce is on the soundtrack for this film. She is reviving and remixing one of her biggest singles: Crazy in Love. Its going to be edgier, slower, and intense. Right along the lines of the films.

POWER stars (no pun intended) Omari Hardwick (Being Mary Jane, Kick Ass, and For Colored Girls) as James "Ghost" St. Patrick (there's a name for ya), a nightclub owner whose club is the biggest hot spot in New York city. While owning one of the hottest nightclubs in New York, James also dabbles in the city's underworld of drugs where he goes by Ghost. Despite being one of the biggest drug kingpins in New York, James is now at a place in his life where he has two options: Leave the drug game alone forever and go legit or continue his double life regardless of the consequences. So what will it be Ghost the ruthless drug kingpin or will it be James St. Patrick the high powered nightclub owner and business man? Who knows? Guess we'll have to watch POWER to find out! POWER stars Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Omari Hardwick, LaLa Anthony, and Naturi Naughton

Sounds like a juicy show full of drama, drugs, sex, lies, and guns! 50 Cent will be a part of the show and he's also executive producer. I can't wait to see how this show turns out! I actually really excited about this show. It seems to be interesting and full of potential.




POWER makes its television debut sometime this summer. When the date is released I will definitely update this blog!

USAs Necessary Roughness has been cancelled. Unfortunately the network has opted of a 4th Season. Necessary Roughness was not a breakout hit. It kept a steady stream of loyal followers and last season it had $4 Million viewers which isn't bad but it wasn't mind blowing ratings either.

In case you didn't know Necessary Roughness started out about a therapist named Dani Santino. Dani was coping with marital troubles and a failing practice. She was offered a job by a football coach whose athlete was having trouble performing on the field. Necessary Roughness mirrored a lot of problems occurring in sports now. Performance enhancement drugs, infidelity, promiscuity, sexual preference, etc. Many of these same topics plague the NBA, NFL, MLB, Olympians, etc. There was a formal statement released by the network via Deadline and here's what it said:

“We are proud of this show and its writers, which had a unique ability to address topical subjects before they unfolded in real life on the sports pages,” the network said in a statement to Deadline. “We want to thank Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro, the incredible cast led by Golden Globe nominee Callie Thorne and our partners at Sony Television.”

It was a great show, but I think adding John Stamos to the cast was a big mistake. Not to say he wasn't great to look at but it just shook up the storyline of the show too much! Originally Dr. Dani dealt with specific athlete and I thought that she would continue to see him (which she did) and expand the storyline to other athletes problems. But it only went so far. I just felt like they could've taken necessary roughness to the top. Ripped from the headlines storylines. She could have been a freelance therapist working for athletes from all popular sports. Would've been awesome but they focused on this one team and made things consistently personal all the time. It was a good show but it could have been so much better.

Single Ladies is like the scripted version of all the reality shows we love: The Real Housewives Franchise and Real Housewives of Atlanta. Sex, Lies, Money, Crime and everything you love in a juicy, sexy, drama.

And in this season you're going to see some nice little additions like LeToya Luckett as Felicia Price a hardcore no nonsense record executive. Damien Dante Wayans as David Berenger a smooth talking manager in Felicia Price's company and Lesley Ann-Brandt as a clever gold-digger named Naomi Cox. Plus the original cast all their normal shenanigans. It seems to be shaping to up to be a pretty HOT season!

I've always been a fan of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. I've watched it from Season 1 on down. But I have to admit my fill of reality tv was at its highest level so I stopped watching it for awhile. But I was always updated by family and of course Bloggers! This trailer is giving EVERYTHING! Drama, suspense, friendship, pain, love, just serving HUNTI (in my RuPaul Voice!).



I'm so watching THIS MAN! KEEPING IT ALL THE 100!!!!!
