Nicki's Anaconda is a sex fueled song pure and simple. I don't mind it. She was very clever about it though. Sampling Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back". A sexually charged song not meant for anyone under the age of 18. And with that being said there was MAJOR backlash about this cover art. I've seen Beyonce's full butt in her videos as of late and seeing Nicki's is no different. I see nothing wrong with Nicki's butt being out. If she wasn't so large in that department, it might not be such a problem. Anyway the song is catchy and youthful. Something that the younger generation and those of us who like Nicki's style of music would appreciate. I'm waiting on the video! I want to see this lap dance she gives Drake. In the pictures he seems to be really into it I just want to see his face. Cause I know it going to be hilarious! LOL.

One of my favorite artists Jazmine Sullivan is back into music. I loved Jazmine Sullivan she's awesome. She has tremendous talent and she's absolutely gorge!

Jazmine Sullivan first hit mainstream with her song "Need U Bad". It was a smash hit and her album Fearless dominated from 2008-2009. She's a Grammy nominated artist/songwriter and protege' of rapper/producer Missy Elliott. She's wrote songs for artists like Tamia, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia Barrino, and Christina Milan.

Jazmine sold out at KOKO in London's Camden Place. She performed a cover of Daft Punk's hit Get Lucky and then she performed some of her hits like “Need U Bad,”“Lions, Tigers & Bears” and“Bust Your Windows,” and fan favorite "In Love With Another Man" along with a preview of her new single "Masterpiece". She announced she has made her return to music and will be releasing the single "Masterpiece" and her new album will be called Mona Lisa later on this year.


In 2011, Jazmine announced via twitter that she was giving the music industry a break. Here's her tweet:

I'm making an official announcement that I am taking a break from music. I’m trying to figure out who I am … w/out a mike, paper or pen. I promised myself that when it wasn't fun anymore I wouldn't do it. and here I am. I'm not saying I wont ever sing again in my life becuz I don't believe that. but in this moment… rt now… I got some things to figure out.

I'm glad Jazmine went and got herself together. She was a great R&B artist and they are few and far between these days. So when her album single and album comes out I will definitely be purchasing them when they are released which hopefully will be in the near future. Please let it be in the future.

Michelle has several irons in the fire besides just her new gospel Journey To Freedom. She has been starring in the Tony Award Winning Musical Fela and working on her reality television debut. Michelle Williams is going to have a new TV series called "My Sisters Keeper". It will chronicle Michelle and her sisters as they navigate family, relationships, Michelle's new album and other drama. No word on which network this show will be on but if I had to guess I would go with Lifetime, Oxygen, We, TLC, Style or E! Those the best networks to display a reality TV show.

I can admit Trina is one of the prettiest women I've seen and she's got a natural body that most women including myself have been jealous of and wanted since she hit the scene. This is Busta Rhymes new single Twerk It feat. Nicki Minaj (well it may not be new to you but its definitely new to me). The video itself is provocative. Too much ass for me. I can't look at it for long. I love Busta Rhymes I think he's funny and cool. I just feel like he's better than this and I wish the video was more geared toward the culture and portraying it in a better fashion verses just asses jiggling everywhere. Its gotta be more to Jamaican's and other islanders than just that, right? I know I know everybody is reading this like "Tiff seriously? The song is called Twerk It." I know. I know I'm just not trying to look at a woman's ass all day long. Its just not my cup of tea. But do you Busta, do you.

Anyway the song itself I dig. I like the island vibe Busta and Nicki give off, rapping in their native dialect. All in all its a hot song for a party or bumping in your car and especially for clubbing. Another Summertime hit I need to include in my summer hit list!

By the Way: Twerking is not new at all. Its just been rebooted. But I don't think it should praised like it is something awe inspiring natural beauty. A girl shaking her ass is a magically feat to some people but to me its a dance nothing more and nothing less move on and act like you got some sense. That is all!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta's Joseline Hernandez has debuted her first music video for her new single "Mi Colta"

This entire song is in Spanish which isn't bad actually. She is more suited for an international market. Joseline could be a good international artist if Stevie J has the coin to refine her. She is very raw. The song itself isn't bad at all, but I would need a Spanish to English dictionary or translator to tell me what she was rapping about. Its got a decent beat, Joseline keeping up and but it just seems like the song or the video wasn't well put together. But I get the jest of the song. I would imagine the song is about the struggle of her upbringing and being able to rise above it. Either way Joseline did it with her money (despite Stevie J giving some of her money to Mimi). Her song "Mi Colta" is unique it's different from what I've seen or heard. I can honestly say that there is no one on the market like her. But if Stevie J doesn't begin to market her in markets where she will excel particularly the Latin American/Spanish markets then she won't go any further than Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

Ciara's on a role! I was feeling Sorry and Body Party. I thought she finally got back into her groove. Now she's got I'm Out. Its gritty and rough with low vocals and a guest spot by Ms. Nicki Minaj. Iggy Azalea is a peculiar one. Honestly I didn't listen to much her music until I came across this song Work. Iggy Azalea became popular when she was apart of 2011's XXL Freshman Class (which is the Next Big Thing in Hip Hop). After that she was everywhere. Just like Nicki Minaj. Featured on many songs. Pictured at parties, rumored to be dating or bedding certain celebs. She was on her way. But then a series of complications in her contracts with record labels derailed her but instead wallowing she went a different route. Took her talents across the pond in the UK market and became a sensation. Now back in the states and releasing new music we come full circle to the song Work. Work is upbeat with a hardcore beat and heavy bass. Its a good club and radio play song. I really like the version ft Wale, Wale is one of my favorite rap artists.  Iggy Azalea is pretty cool. She got the Ke$ha vibe, but she can be a lot rougher and hardcore. I would have to listen to the rest of her music to say how I really feel about it. But so far, I like Iggy Azalea and as long she carves her own niche she will be just fine. Stick to what works for you Iggy and you'll go places. For now you got a fan in me! Well Beyonce is telling the WORLD how GROWN she truly is. If you have been listening to the music on Mrs. Carters on the latest Pepsi commercial then you would've had a snippet of the song.  LOL. Grown Woman, its a cute song. First LEAKED single off her ANTICIPATED album Mrs Carter. Gotta nice island vibe to it with the Caribbean sound. Nothing bad I can say about the song its cool. The lyrics are a little generic but in this case the song really isn't about the lyrics. The song is just explaining the various aspects of her that make her Grown. Her body, mindset, everything. Its quick and to the point It really should be (even if she didn't intend for it to be this way) a dance song. Not to say that it shouldn't have lyrics that make sense but the beat is so live, that you could've said anything and it would sound good. And in this case Beyonce almost did! LOL Beyonce you got hit in this song. I like it, its a smooth mellow beat but its still uptempo and high octane all at the same time. Sure fire Club Banger! Summer Single for Sure.
