Drake's Hold On, We're Going Home is a cool song. I feel as though I've heard this before. Like a mash up of his song Doing Wrong feat. Stevie Wonder and his song Find Your Love. If you really listen to the songs I'm talking about and then play Hold On, We're Going Home Drake hasn't changed much but I can say that the song itself is different. It's a little more upbeat but basically has the same tempo as Find Your Love and Doing Wrong. However the key he sang the song in is the same. He never changes and sings in the same key over and over again. But I can say that I like the song.

But I'm not gonna be too hard on the dude. I like the concept of the song. Its very mellow and soothing. I like how he serenades (in his own way cause if you want to know the truth Drake's singing ability is mediocre at best not trying to be mean to downplay the man's talent I'm just being honest.) on the song. Drake has a unique perspective of what he considers to be Hip Hop. He likes to cross genres a lot and I think that's why artists like him, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Frank Ocean, etc are always on top. They are always crossing over in their music which allows them a bigger audience and it helps their music reach the most unlikely of places.

Now I was on soundcloud and found these songs for free. Some of these songs feature Drake like Partyomo's song Over Here. Another Canadian artist I assume he is on Drake's squad or potential record label. Not quite sure but I really like the song. As I have said before I love this song by Miley. I figured the video would be just as gritty as the song but never in a million years could I have imagined this:

Kelly" an accolade that anyone would and should wear with pride (in regards to his music of course). She writes songs that resonates with your mind, body, and soul. She's raw, gritty, and sometimes a little ghetto lol, all in the hopes of getting the message to her audience. What sets K. Michelle a part from the rest of the R&B artists is thats she's not afraid to go those dark places, to be raw and upfront. She makes her music simple but increasingly hypnotic and sultry (i love that word sultry lol). All in all K. Michelle's album Rebellious Soul is an album that everyone can relate to. Women, men, EVERYONE.

My favorite tracks off of Rebellious Soul: I Don't Like Me, Can't Raise A Man, of course V.S.O.P., My Life, and Hate on Her. Don't get me wrong I like the entire album. I can play it all the way through without skipping but just picking out my favorite tracks off of the album these are my absolute FAVES!

Despite what was displayed on TV, I encourage you to give K. Michelle's music a try. I saw a lot of people on Facebook and Twitter just by passing the album because her attitude on LHHATL. Put that to the side and just listen to her music. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with what you hear.

Michelle has several irons in the fire besides just her new gospel Journey To Freedom. She has been starring in the Tony Award Winning Musical Fela and working on her reality television debut. Michelle Williams is going to have a new TV series called "My Sisters Keeper". It will chronicle Michelle and her sisters as they navigate family, relationships, Michelle's new album and other drama. No word on which network this show will be on but if I had to guess I would go with Lifetime, Oxygen, We, TLC, Style or E! Those the best networks to display a reality TV show.

Anyway I am enjoying the new music Miley is putting out. Not going to say I'm running to see her in concert but I do like the singles she's put out. The reason why for concerts are out of the question is because its difficult for me to put the 2 images together. Her music and her vision for her performances and videos are way off base in my book. I can't see them together. So I will probably be more incline to buy the album rather than a ticket to the concert. #imjussayin
