New Album Release: R. Kelly is Releasing his New Album Black Panties! And Its Coming Out with a Controversial Cover to Sell It!
11/21/2013 01:09:00 AM
Well Mr. Pied Piper is back! And he's taking his music to the old days of 12 Play. You remember 12 Play right? With songs like Your Body's Callin', Bump N' Grind, Sex Me Part 1 & 2, and It Seems Like You're Ready. R. Kelly's been known for his soulful music and raunchy lyrics. In an interview with the Grio he was asked about his latest project Black Panties and of course some of the sexually explicit songs that have been released as singles and here's what he said via the Grio:
“Everywhere I go it’s ‘when are you going to come back with another 12 Play, when are you going to come back with the sexual R. Kelly’ — so, this is it,”R. Kelly's last 2 albums he was channeling Sam Cooke, Teddy Pendergrass and other soulful R&B Crooners. Love Letter and Write Me Back were good albums but it just wasn't the R. Kelly that everyone was looking for. People were looking for 12 Play, TP2.com, R. Kelly. The sexually driven mega sex symbol that we've all grown to love and adore. So now Mr. Kelly is in the process of releasing his album Black Panties. An geared toward what R. Kelly seems to know best...SEX. Its marked with an explicit advisory warning but in the end this IS R. Kelly were talking about. So are you really surprised?

Two singles have been released off of the album Cookies and My Song ft. 2Chainz. I've listened to Cookies and its no different than Feelin on Yo Booty or any other sex song R. Kelly has created. Well you know what, no I take that back thats not true. It is different, its simply made in a different time with different slang. Thats all. I remember when that song came out it was crazy how popular it was. Can you think back to that time? Back then, it was considered too much! If that song came out today people would probably laugh at it. I mean cause singers like Rihanna and Miley Cyrus are much more sexually driven. I mean its mind boggling to me how time changes and flies past like this. Anyway, I'll be waiting on R. Kelly's new album it'll be a good album to make babies too. LOL. Just Kidding ;)

K. Michelle one of the fan favorites of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta has rededicated herself to her first love: Music. K. Michelle is an immensely talented singer/songwriter. Rebellious Soul exceeded expectations by debuting at #2 on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart, #1 on the US Billboard R&B/Soul 100 Chart, and #1 on iTunes. K. Michelle has been dubbed the "Female R. Kelly" an accolade that anyone would and should wear with pride (in regards to his music of course). She writes songs that resonates with your mind, body, and soul. She's raw, gritty, and sometimes a little ghetto lol, all in the hopes of getting the message to her audience. What sets K. Michelle a part from the rest of the R&B artists is thats she's not afraid to go those dark places, to be raw and upfront. She makes her music simple but increasingly hypnotic and sultry (i love that word sultry lol). All in all K. Michelle's album Rebellious Soul is an album that everyone can relate to. Women, men, EVERYONE.
My favorite tracks off of Rebellious Soul: I Don't Like Me, Can't Raise A Man, of course V.S.O.P., My Life, and Hate on Her. Don't get me wrong I like the entire album. I can play it all the way through without skipping but just picking out my favorite tracks off of the album these are my absolute FAVES!
Despite what was displayed on TV, I encourage you to give K. Michelle's music a try. I saw a lot of people on Facebook and Twitter just by passing the album because her attitude on LHHATL. Put that to the side and just listen to her music. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with what you hear.

In New Music News: Twitter and The World is Going CRAZY Over Big Sean's New Song "Control" feat. Kendrick Lamar & Jay Electronica
8/14/2013 01:55:00 PM
Big Sean set the world on fire a couple days ago with the release of his of song Control feat Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica. But the song's featured artist Kendrick Lamar is what the world is buzzing about. Kendrick is a great lyricist and entertainer. He's taken the world by storm with his album good kid, m.A.A.d city. And now he's going after his peers. In a verse on Big Sean's song Control he talks about being mentioned among some of the greatest rappers of all time and how some of his competitors need to be aware of him and skills because he's here to take them OUT! Check out a snippet of his verse here via zHipHopCleveland:
"I heard the barbershops be in great debates all the time
Bout who’s the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas
Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of y’all
New niggas just new niggas, don’t get involved
I’m usually homeboys with the same niggas I’m rhymin’ wit
But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you niggas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas
They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas
What is competition? I’m tryna raise the bar high
Who tryna jump and get it? You better off tryna skydive
Out the exit window of 5 G5’s with 5 grand
With your granddad as the pilot he drunk as fuck tryna land
With the hand full of arthritis and popping prosthetic leg
Bumpin Pac in the cockpit so the shit that pops in his head
Is an option of violence, someone heard the stewardess said
That your parachute is a latex condom hooked to a dread"
- Kendrick Lamar, ControlTwitter went CRAZY! Take a look at a compilation of responses from rappers mentioned in the verse and others who weren't. Even LeBron James put his 2 cents in:
The Challenge Has Been Made! Hierarchy Set! Do you think any of these rappers mentioned or others are going to accept the challenge?
Lupe Fiasco has already put out a response called #SLR2, but to me its a lackluster response. In hip hop you have to hit hard to be noticed. And in this case I'm sorry Lupe you fell flat. I liked the song but I didn't think it was a good response to what Kendrick said in his verse. And by the way all you hardcore hip hop heads who are sitting there basically saying: "Okay, It's Obvious You Didn't Understand What He Was Saying" Nope you would be wrong. Actually I did listen to his response as a song its cool. But in terms of firing back it was weak in my opinion. Not saying I don't like Lupe, I LOVE Lupe. He is an awesome lyricist, I'm just saying this isn't some of his best work. #ImJusSayin
The proof is in the pudding Listen to Kendrick's Verse on Control and then Listen to Lupe's #SLR2. You'll see what I mean and even if you don't it's okay to agree to disagree.
Listen to the track for yourself:
Now Listen to Lupe's SLR2
Here is King Kendrick, now who's going to go after his throne? He's claimed it, its up to YOU to take IT!
Which rapper do you think will DETHRONE King Kendrick?
King Kendrick

This is a little snippet of the K. Michelle's Rebellious Soul. Check it out!!!!!
I'm really #TeamKMichelle on her music. She's got some awesome songs on #TheSampler and #TheHoldover, songs that really hit home like I Don't Like Me and Hate On Her. Its the REALNESS of her music that draws me to it. K. Michelle has a way of conveying her feelings in her music that is all her own. If she stays on this path I expect her to be a huge R&B star. K. Michelle's clawing her way to the top and she's on a roll. Really rooting for her!
Ciara's finally back on top!

| Album Art: Ciara |
A Little Background
Her album Ciara has debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Charts. Ciara hasn't had the best in the music field for the last 3 years.
When Ciara's debut album Goodies it was hot. Atlanta was the number one capital for southern car hopping music and Ciara capitalized on it big time. Singles like Goodies, Oh!, and One Two Step, were all chart topping bangers! With her AWESOME dancing skills and serious sexy swag Ciara became the it girl in music. But her style of music slowly began to become obsolete. And other talents began to emerge changing the landscape for Pop/R&B/Hip Hop artists. Talents like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and Lady Gaga (these last two more so later than during her time but you get my drift).

Another hit was Ciara: The Evolution on that album she released several chart topping singles Promise (her biggest hit to date), Can't Leave Em Alone, Get Up and of course probably her biggest hit next to or beyond Promise, Like a Boy

Another hit was Ciara: The Evolution on that album she released several chart topping singles Promise (her biggest hit to date), Can't Leave Em Alone, Get Up and of course probably her biggest hit next to or beyond Promise, Like a Boy
She released new music on her album Fantasy Ride, it came out in 2009. Its breakout hit was Love Sex and Magic featuring Justin Timberlake. An international hit. After that she released a new album Basic Instinct but it didn't do as well as projected. Attributed to poor marketing by her label Laface, Basic Instinct barely went beyond #44 on the Top 100. Then her single Ride feat Ludacris garnered controversy when BET banned the video claiming it was too sexually charged for their network. The label didn't work on the promotion of Basic Instinct which resulted in Ciara having to market and promote her single Gimme Dat and her album Basic Instinct all on her own. Which didn't work out in her favor.
Fast forward to 2013 Ciara releases Body Party! Promoted very well and circulated constantly on Internet and public radio. Body Party was a sure fire hit and was number one on the charts and digital download for a very long time. Her follow-up single I'm Out featuring Nicki Minaj was just as huge.
Ciara has put herself on the map. Her singles are chart topping bangers and her album is currently #2 on the Billboard Top 200 charts. She's right between JAY-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail and J. Cole's Born Sinner.
I'm glad she's back on top of the scene. Good for you girl!

New Music Alert: I'm Out by Ciara feat. Nicki Minaj (Video and Lyrics inside)
7/01/2013 06:09:00 PMCiara's on a role! I was feeling Sorry and Body Party. I thought she finally got back into her groove. Now she's got I'm Out. Its gritty and rough with low vocals and a guest spot by Ms. Nicki Minaj. I gotta say its not I expected from Ci Ci but I'm glad its been put out there. The video is a little sporadic but all in all its a good club banger. Can't help but love this song. Its a major breakup/hype song for any woman needing to get amped. Lyrics to I'm Out
"I'm Out"
(feat. Nicki Minaj)
Ladies, it's your song
So as soon as this come on
You should get out on the floor
Gon' and get your sexy on
If you know that you better
Then the new girl that he on
Go 'head and tell him now
You gon' miss me when I'm gone
Aye yo, Ci Ci
Let me show you how to do a singin' bitch, greasy
You was by Lennox, yeah the one on Peach Street
I was with Demetri, seen you on your lovin' hip hop men, D.C.
"F-f-f-fuck these petty niggas" is a bitch motto
If I say I don't wax, every bitch follow
If I'm sippin' in the club, mix Moscato
I got a big fat ass, big dicks follow
Hit him with the back shots
Hit him with the ass shots
Take him to the bank then I hit him with cash shots
I do it big, I hit him with the CAPS LOCK
I'm gonna ball, I hit him with the mascot
No, I never been there, but I like to Bangkok
Big fat titties when they hangin' out my tanktop
You gon' play me, on Instagram niggas tryna shade me
But your bitch at home tryna play me
I'm Nicki and Weezy F, baby
Man, fuck you and your lady
Gon' butt you, cause you shady
Now which bitch run it?
Cause that bitch dig it
I gave him to you bitch
Don't fucking forget it
I just went through a break up (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
But it's okay, I got my cake up (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
Do my hair, put on some makeup (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
Tryna see where tonight gon' take us (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
I put some pics up lookin' sexy (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
Now this nigga wanna text me (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
How much you wanna bet me? (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
He gon' regret the day he left me (Ooh yay-yay-yay, ooh yay-yay-yay)
Celebratin' our breakin' up, oh whoa
What's in the door, go 'head and pour me a little more
Tonight we gon' have us a good time
Let's have a toast to our goodbyes, oh whoa
Ladies, it's your song
So as soon as this come on
You should get out on the floor
Gon' and get your sexy on
If you know that you better
Then the new girl that he on
Go 'head and tell him now
"You gon' miss me when I'm gone" (I'm out)
I'm out
I'm out
I'm out
Now tell me, do my ladies run this (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
Not even Hammer can touch this (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
We standin' up on all the couches (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
Tomorrow you gon' hear about this (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
This is what you hearin' through your speakers (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
That's why we dancin' til our feet hurt (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
See I found out he was my problem (Ooh yay-yay-yay)
Tonight I came out here to solve him (Ooh yay-yay-yay, ooh yay-yay-yay)
Celebratin' our breakin' up, oh whoa
What's in the door, go 'head and pour me a little more
Tonight we gon' have us a good time
Let's have a toast to our goodbyes, oh whoa
Ladies, it's your song
So as soon as this come on
You should get out on the floor
Gon' and get your sexy on
If you know that you better
Then the new girl that he on
Go 'head and tell him now
"You gon' miss me when I'm gone" (I'm out)
The way I put it on you got you goin' trippy (whoa)
You wanna come for it, wishin' you could get it (whoa)
No-o-o-o-oooo, No-o-o-o-oooo
I got you high, make you stop, when you see me, see me
You got your hand up, talkin' 'bout "gimme, gimme"
No-o-o-o-oooo, No-o-o-o-oooo
Ladies, it's your song
So as soon as this come on
Say "fuck these petty niggas" if these niggas did you wrong
If he got a new bitch, then tell that bitch meet you outside
And pop her like a molly, tell them bitches recognize
Winnin' (I'm out), I'm winnin'
The end and the beginnin'
I send them on an errand then I send them like my chilren (children)
You couldn't get a fan if it was hangin' from the ceilin' (I'm out)

Ciara Self Titled Album Ciara will be available July 5, 2013! I'm definitely coping it and so should you!!!!!
Janelle Monae has never been one to be dedicated to one genre. Her music is all over the place and I love that about her. She's so awesome and it really comes out through her music how eclectic and edgy she really is. In the case of Dance Apocalyptic, its a mash up of the bubble gum pop music (like Jackson 5, early New Edition, etc.) and that ukulele luau/California style mix. Its a very interesting and creative combo. Its a cute song. Something to listen to around the house, play at a light cocktail party or upbeat dinner party. This is a easy going song despite the uptempo beat.
As an artist Janelle Monae is awesome. I like her style, her witty lyrics and her cool swagger. Her music is bold, fresh, and unique. It can stand on its own, which makes her original and sort of a pioneer in her own right.
Her other single Q.U.E.E.N. feat Erykah Badu is really really really AWESOME! Its got a great vibe with the dance track and subtle breakdowns. Its too hype. So listen for yourself here's Dance Apocalyptic and Q.U.E.E.N. feat Erykah Badu. Enjoy:
Lyrics for Dance Apocalyptic
[Intro]
Bands that make her dance
Apocalyptic now
Bands that make her dance
Apocalyptic (Woo!)
Bands that make her dance
Apocalyptic now
Bands that make her dance
Apocalyptic
[Verse]
You're goin' crazy
The hitmen always spy you
Do that dance!
Smokin' in the girls' room
Kissin' friends
It's over like a power book
It's floatin' in the bathroom stall (Ah!)
You're so freaked out!
Worried about the market
You bought a house!
But I'm allergic to the house bitch
Credit card
They bought a new wife
Poor shattered little lonely men
[Chorus]
But I really really wanna thank you
For dancing till the end
You found a way to break up
You're not afraid to break out
But I need to know
If the world says it's time to go
Tell me should you break up
Smash, smash, bang, bang
Don't stop!
Chalanga-langa-lang! (ooh chanlanga-langa-lang)
But I need to know
If the world says it's time to go
Tell me we should break up
Smash, smash, bang, bang
Don't stop!
Chalanga-langa-lang!
2x
[Verse 2]
You got a life
But there's zombie in the front yard
Take a bath
But nothing gets the funk off
You're on TV
Rockin' and a roller coaster
Dangers love that rock and roll
Sick and tired
Of bubble tasting plastic
You want to cry
But -- real bitch
You're asking why
The pain is always equal
But enjoy this -- espresso brown
(Uh uh, uh uh!)
[Chorus]
But I really really wanna thank you
For dancing till the end
You found a way to break up
You're not afraid to break out
But I need to know
If the world says it's time to go
Tell me will you break up
Smash, smash, bang, bang
Don't stop!
Chalanga-langa-lang!
But I need to know
If the world says it's time to go
Tell me will you break up
Smash, smash, bang, bang
Don't stop!
Chalanga-langa-lang!
2x
[Bridge]
You're goin' crazy
The hit men always spy you
Do that dance!
Smokin' in the girls' room
Kissin' friends
Keep a rockin' and a rollin'
Cause' the dangers love that rock and roll
You're so freaked out!
Worried about the bomb threats
You bought a house!
But I'm allergic to the house bitch
Credit card
You're forking down the --
Just to make enough to pay your rent
[Chorus]
But I really really wanna thank you
For dancing till the end
You found a way to break up
You're not afraid to break out
But I need to know
If the world says it's time to go
Tell me will you break up
Smash, smash, bang, bang
Don't stop!
Chalanga-langa-lang! (oh baby!)
But I need to know
If the world says it's time to go
Tell me will you break up
Smash, smash, bang, bang
Don't stop!
Chalanga-langa-lang!
2x
Look at cha!
You're just like a little old earthquake
Break it! Break It
You got to break it!
Ain't no order in this court room
Smash, smash, bang, bang (you all going to jail)
Don't stop!
Chalanga-langa-lang!
[Outro]
What's the matter?
Your chicken taste like pork?
You have triplets instead of twins?
Does your food taste plastic?
Grandaddy, I think I wanna dance.

Lyrics for Q.U.E.E.N.
[Intro]
Girl, this is crazy
Let me tell you
[Verse 1: Janelle Monae]
I can't believe all of the things they say about me
Walk in the room they throwing shade left to right
They be like, "Ooh, she serving face"
And I just tell 'em cut me up and get down
They call us dirty cause we break all your rules down
And we just came to act a fool, is that all right?
(Girl, that's alright)
They be like, "Ooh, let them eat cake."
But we eat wings and throw them bones on the ground
[Hook]
Am I a freak for dancing around?
Am I a freak for getting down?
I'm cutting up, don't cut me down
Yeah I wanna be, wanna be Queen
[Verse 2]
Is it peculiar that she twerk in the mirror?
And am I weird to dance alone late at night?
And is it true we're all insane?
And I just tell 'em, "No we ain't" and get down
I heard this life is just a play with no rehearsal
I wonder will this be my final act tonight
And tell me what's the price of fame?
Am I a sinner with my skirt on the ground?
[Hook]
[Verse 3]
Hey brother can you save my soul from the devil?
Say is it weird to like the way she wear her tights?
And is it rude to wear my shades?
Am I a freak because I love watching Mary? (Maybe)
Hey sister am I good enough for your heaven?
Say will your God accept me in my black and white?
Will he approve the way I'm made?
Or should I reprogram, deprogram and
Get down?
[Hook]
[Spoken Word]
Even if it makes others uncomfortable
I will love who I am
Even if it makes other uncomfortable
I will love who I am
[Breakdown: Erykah Badu]
Shake 'til the break of dawn
Don't mean to sing so tough
I can't take it no more
Baby, me and tuxedo crew
Pharaohs, it ain't my tomb
Crazy in the black and white
We got the drums so tight
Baby, here comes the freedom song
Too strong we moving on
Baby this melody
Will show you another way
Been 'droids for far too long
Come home and sing your song
But you gotta testify
Because the booty don't lie
No, no, the booty don't lie
Oh no, the booty don't lie
[Verse 4: Janelle Monae]
Yeah
Yeah, let's flip it
I don't think they understand what I'm trying to say
I asked a question like this
"Are we a lost generation of our people?
Add us to equations but they'll never make us equal.
She who writes the movie owns the script and the sequel.
So why ain't the stealing of my rights made illegal?
They keep us underground working hard for the greedy,
But when it's time pay they turn around and call us needy.
My crown too heavy like the Queen Nefertiti
Gimme back my pyramid, I'm trying to free Kansas City.
Mixing masterminds like your name Bernie Grundman.
Well I'mma keep leading like a young Harriet Tubman
You can take my wings but I'm still goin' fly
And even when you edit me the booty don't lie
Yeah keep singing, I'mma keep writing songs
I'm tired of Marvin asking me, "What's Going On?
March to the streets 'cuz I'm willing and I'm able
Categorize me, I defy every label
And while you're selling dope, we're gonna keep selling hope
We rising up now, you gotta deal you gotta cope
Will you be electric sheep?
Electric ladies, will you sleep?
Or will you preach?"
Her upcoming album: The Electric Lady is available for Pre-Order on iTunes.com right now.
But will be available for purchase otherwise on September 10, 2013.

John Legend's new single is titled Made to Love. The has a strong african drum at its core but its still has John Legend's signature sound. John Legend's new album a very popular and famous executive producer by the name of Mr. Kanye West. The album is aptly titled "Love and Future" I really like all of the singles off of this album. The Beginning was sensual and slow, something that is truly made for love making. The Who Do We Think We Are came out and it was vintage John Legend with an added hip hop vibe (given by Rick Ross). Now his third Made to Love is a beautiful song feat. Kimbra. Both voices compliment each other beautifully. I love this song and I have every album John Legend has made. I'm a big fan and can't wait for the album's release.

Paris Hilton has Signed a New Record Deal with Y.M.C.M.B.! Really? Music Is Dead Man!
5/23/2013 10:26:00 PM
Socialite and famous heiress Paris Hilton has signed a record deal with YMCMB and her album is due out later on this year!
What is this for? Not everyone is meant to be a music artist. Stay in your lane. All the producers, writers, etc, are wasting time and money on people with no talent when there are plenty of people who can sing beautifully. I'm not buying any of the music she puts out and I'm not condoning this BS! Nothing against Ms. Hilton but just because you have a lot of money and look pretty doesn't mean you can sing or rap. Just do what you do best. You have a great shoe line and clothing line, the perfume you came out with is dope. Please just be a great socialite. Seriously, a music artist? Please OK?
I'm tired of people who are not even trying to make good music. They're just in it for the money or to stay relevant. It's not cool and makes a mockery of the music industry and those artists who struggled before them. Now you come up with this? This is an insult to the real artists and music industry itself. You don't have to like ya'll I'm just speaking my mind!
Here's the tweet of her being welcomed into the YMCMB crew:
