Put in modern times this version of Annie stars Quvenzhané Wallis as Annie, Jamie Foxx as Benjamin Stacks aka Daddy Warbucks, Rose Byrne as Grace, and Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan.
Its still got the basic concept of the original Annie with just some small changes to make the story more up to date. Its a pretty decent cast and its got some funny spots. I think it will do well in the theaters.
Annie was a classic story. I loved it! It was and still is one of my favorite movies. So one can only hope that with the modernization it doesn't lose that cute heart warming charm and the loving innocence that made it such a classic years ago.
Annie hits theaters this Christmas!
