Some of the best books in terms of horror for children is FINALLY getting a movie and I know when its due to be released! YAY! LOL! 

Goosebumps was a book series started in 1992 by author R.L. Stine. It was a series of books geared toward children in the genre of horror. The books featured children who ended up in scary situations. They were usually read by children who were in middle school to the early years of high school. This series spawned several other series of books, TV shows, and merchandise. 

Goosebumps the Movie has been in circulation for some time now. They've finally gotten the right financial backing and movie company to produce the movie. And you'll never guess who'll be starring in the film. Jack Black! One of my favorite comedic actors and musicians (Tenacious D anyone?). The film will be based on several of the books in the original Goosebumps series. Jack Black's co-stars will include Minnette and Odeya Rush. Rob Letterman will direct.
