The Entertainment of Life

Well folks it looks like two of the biggest comedians/actors might star in a film together. Both are leading men in their respective fields and have the awards and box office numbers to back it up!

Kevin Hart is quite possibly the hardest working man in the entertainment industry to date. Kevin Hart has become the biggest comedian of this era. Selling out arenas all over the world. And his huge success in TV with Real Husbands of Hollywood and of course the success of the movie Think Like a Man. He had major success with the first 2 films he starred in this year (About Last Night & Ride Along) and he has more to come. Let's not forget the always popular and ever talented Jamie Foxx. Oscar winner, Grammy award winning artist, and superb comedian (a jack of all trades if you will). If you remember Jamie Foxx became a breakout star winning countless awards for his work in Ray and co-starring in Collateral opposite Tom Cruise and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Kevin Hart and Jamie Foxx are both in talks to star in the action comedy Black Phantom. Black Phantom is about a mob hit man who enlists the help of Black Phantom, the same hit man who was sent to kill him. Though the plot line is vague it appears that both of the men are going to play hit men and end up working together. This new film will be a reunion of sorts with for Kevin Hart. The director who directed Ride Along is at the helm of this new film Black Phantom.

Looks like a dream match for producers and directors alike. Kevin Hart is the new kid with a powerful driving force in comedy and action. And Jamie Foxx is no stranger to action or comedy. So putting these two heavyweights together was not only a good idea but a smart one as well. Hopefully over time the plot or synopsis of the film will be revealed so that a better idea of the movie and its characters comes to light. Beyond that all I can say is I love Jamie Foxx, I've been a fan of his since In Living Color and the Jamie Foxx Show. Kevin Hart, got mad love for him too. Been a fan of his since his 1st appearance in Comicview on BET. Back when Comicview was funny and the "it" place for comedy showcase. Anyway I hope they both sign on and I hope the movie is a major success!
