To prepare: 10 to 15 minutes
Ingredients
1 Bundle Fresh Asparagus
1 Whole Lemon
1 1/2 tsp Salt (Coarse or Sea)
1 1/2 tsp Pepper (or Lemon Pepper)
Butter
½ tsp Chopped Garlic
Diced Pancetta
Directions
Heat up a pan add butter or oil and cook pancetta in the oil. Cook pancetta until crispy and then remove it from the pan allowing it to drain add the garlic and asparagus to the oil and cook for 5 to 10 min. Add salt and pepper. Zest and juice the lemon into the pan and cook for a minute then remove from the pan add pancetta on top and serve.
*Substitute asparagus for fresh green beans or cabbage.*
