New Album Release: R. Kelly is Releasing his New Album Black Panties! And Its Coming Out with a Controversial Cover to Sell It!
11/21/2013 01:09:00 AM
Well Mr. Pied Piper is back! And he's taking his music to the old days of 12 Play. You remember 12 Play right? With songs like Your Body's Callin', Bump N' Grind, Sex Me Part 1 & 2, and It Seems Like You're Ready. R. Kelly's been known for his soulful music and raunchy lyrics. In an interview with the Grio he was asked about his latest project Black Panties and of course some of the sexually explicit songs that have been released as singles and here's what he said via the Grio:
“Everywhere I go it’s ‘when are you going to come back with another 12 Play, when are you going to come back with the sexual R. Kelly’ — so, this is it,”R. Kelly's last 2 albums he was channeling Sam Cooke, Teddy Pendergrass and other soulful R&B Crooners. Love Letter and Write Me Back were good albums but it just wasn't the R. Kelly that everyone was looking for. People were looking for 12 Play, TP2.com, R. Kelly. The sexually driven mega sex symbol that we've all grown to love and adore. So now Mr. Kelly is in the process of releasing his album Black Panties. An geared toward what R. Kelly seems to know best...SEX. Its marked with an explicit advisory warning but in the end this IS R. Kelly were talking about. So are you really surprised?

Two singles have been released off of the album Cookies and My Song ft. 2Chainz. I've listened to Cookies and its no different than Feelin on Yo Booty or any other sex song R. Kelly has created. Well you know what, no I take that back thats not true. It is different, its simply made in a different time with different slang. Thats all. I remember when that song came out it was crazy how popular it was. Can you think back to that time? Back then, it was considered too much! If that song came out today people would probably laugh at it. I mean cause singers like Rihanna and Miley Cyrus are much more sexually driven. I mean its mind boggling to me how time changes and flies past like this. Anyway, I'll be waiting on R. Kelly's new album it'll be a good album to make babies too. LOL. Just Kidding ;)

USAs Necessary Roughness has been cancelled. Unfortunately the network has opted of a 4th Season. Necessary Roughness was not a breakout hit. It kept a steady stream of loyal followers and last season it had $4 Million viewers which isn't bad but it wasn't mind blowing ratings either.
In case you didn't know Necessary Roughness started out about a therapist named Dani Santino. Dani was coping with marital troubles and a failing practice. She was offered a job by a football coach whose athlete was having trouble performing on the field. Necessary Roughness mirrored a lot of problems occurring in sports now. Performance enhancement drugs, infidelity, promiscuity, sexual preference, etc. Many of these same topics plague the NBA, NFL, MLB, Olympians, etc. There was a formal statement released by the network via Deadline and here's what it said:
“We are proud of this show and its writers, which had a unique ability to address topical subjects before they unfolded in real life on the sports pages,” the network said in a statement to Deadline. “We want to thank Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro, the incredible cast led by Golden Globe nominee Callie Thorne and our partners at Sony Television.”
It was a great show, but I think adding John Stamos to the cast was a big mistake. Not to say he wasn't great to look at but it just shook up the storyline of the show too much! Originally Dr. Dani dealt with specific athlete and I thought that she would continue to see him (which she did) and expand the storyline to other athletes problems. But it only went so far. I just felt like they could've taken necessary roughness to the top. Ripped from the headlines storylines. She could have been a freelance therapist working for athletes from all popular sports. Would've been awesome but they focused on this one team and made things consistently personal all the time. It was a good show but it could have been so much better.
Bravo
Reality TV: Oh Boy....Bravo Has Another Reality TV Show Called Blood, Sweat and Heels
11/19/2013 01:33:00 PM
Bravo is still rolling strong with their reality TV empire. Bravo produces some of the biggest reality shows on TV from the Real Housewives Franchise (their bread and butter) to Millionaire Matchmaker and more. The show will be similar to the Real Housewives format: Throw several women in front of the camera. force them into being friends or becoming familiar with each other, all while coping in their normal lives with their careers. The cast includes starring former video vixen Melyssa Ford, A Belle in Brooklyn author Demetria Lucas, style journalist Geneva S. Thomas, Melyssa’s business partner Brie Bythewood, modeling agency owner Mica Hughes and style expert Daisy Lewellyn.
Not sure if I'm going to be watching this show. The only person I am familiar with is Melyssa Ford. But that wouldn't entice me to watch it either. It really doesn't seem like my style. Bravo really needs to slow down on the reality shows and make TV shows that are worth watching. Yeah the Real Housewives Franchise is cool but its getting old. These shows all have the same format. Forced interaction to create a plot that wouldn't occur under normal circumstances. Its just too much and unnecessary. I remember people had to actors or actresses to be on TV. Now you audition and you thrust into the world of Reality TV. Its sad. Very sad.
I'm not a fan of the show. The trailer isn't interesting. I don't expect this show to go beyond the first season. #RealTalk. Good Luck to Melyssa Ford and the rest of the cast. I hope it works out but I SERIOUSLY doubt it!

New Music Video: Rihanna - What Now (Official) - Scares The Hell out of ME!!!!!
11/17/2013 02:11:00 AM
What I get from the video is that she's in a mental stage where she's being split into two. A constant asking of the question What Now would suggest that she's tired of being pulled into different directions and she just can't take it anymore. So much so that she's being split into two forms of herself, literally split into a white side and a dark side. It also appears to be a mental battle from within for Rihanna. Like she's possessed trying to break free of her mental cage. In between these glimpses of Rihanna's struggle are subliminal images of bugs, explosions, and other things that probably mean more to the director and Rihanna than we would know or care to understand. For me its a little scary but at least she's not half naked and twerking. Rihanna has tendency to be dark at times, R was a testament to that so I expected nothing less on this track and video. So as I said before when I commented on a YouTubers video about it: Its a little scary but if thats what she wants I'm good. I definitely won't be watching it again though.
Judge for yourself here's the video below!

Shane Dawson is arguably one of (if not) the most famous YouTube celebrity in the world. Currently he's running 3 channels with over 9 million subscribers. Shane definitely has a gift that people flock to see.
NBC has green lit a single camera comedy series based on Shane Dawson's real life. Its called Losin' It. The comedy will be set in a weight loss center, centered around its most successful client. When the client decides to become a consultant at the clinic that helped him lose weight chaos ensues, he's promoted to manager by the end of his first day!
The story will be written by Darlene Hunt, Shane Dawson, and Shane's producing partner Lauren Schnipper. Dawson, Hunt, Richie Schwartz, and Gluck will executive produce, with Schnipper producing. The storyline is direct from Shane himself. He once worked at a weight loss company called Jenny Craig along with his mother and brother in 2008, around the time his very first YouTube Channel began. Shortly after Shane uploaded a video of pole-dancing in the office that starred his mother, brother, himself and several other employees. Once it was out for the world to see Shane and all his accomplices were fired. But it was obviously a blessing in disguise because Shane is getting his own show! As comedic as this show will be the topic is also very personal to Shane. Having a rough childhood suffered from domestic abuse and bullying. Shane worked hard and lost 150 lbs! His new found confidence and strength pushed him to make moves in the YouTube community and create one of the most successful YouTube channels EVER!
Great for Shane Dawson! I personally have never watched his channel but I know who he is. He's one of the most famous YouTubers of all time. Apparently talented, funny, and now about to be a TV star. So congrats on all your success. Enjoy!
Since I've never seen his channel I'm going to post a playlist of some of his videos below:
Update: I've watched some of them and their pretty funny! So can't wait to see your show Shane! Again Congrats!

The ever popular show NCIS is going to New Orleans! In a couple weeks there will be a two part series where the team will have to travel to New Orleans to solve a murder. An entire NCIS team will be there and this will potentially lead to another spin-off series called NCIS: New Orleans. No word on who the cast for the New Orleans show.

This was brought on OMG! Insider a few days ago. Mark Harmon and one of the hosts of OMG! Insider were taking a little tour around the set when the topic came up. Mark explained the new series may be introduced and if works they could have a new series that takes off. Just like NCIS: Los Angeles. BTW: NCIS: Los Angeles was introduced during Season 6 of NCIS in a 2 part episode called Legend I & II.

I hope it works out for them I really do. I wasn't a fan of NCIS: LA I didn't like the concept. I did like Chris O'Donnell's stint on NCIS in the 2 part episode. I realize now that this was a segway into the series NCIS: Los Angeles. This occured with the CSI series as well. Each show was introduced by the other. CSI: Miami was introduced by the original in the Season 2 episode titled "Cross-Jurisdictions", CSI: NY was introduced by CSI: Miami in the Season 2 episode "MIA/NYC NonStop".
Anyway, NCIS: Los Angeles is too focused on the undercover work. I just don't like it enough to be an avid watcher. Although I love and adore the original NCIS. The original has a mixture of everything needed to make the show AWESOME! Undercover work, good old fashion investigations, forensics and psychology, personal issues plaguing the team, family, comradery, politics, terrorists, etc! Its just a really well rounded put together show, that I love!

So good luck on the New Orleans 2-part series due out later this spring! I can't wait to see how it opens up NCIS: New Orleans and what this new show will center around.

But this new movie isn't the only reason Mr. Wahlberg is in the news. Mark Wahlberg was recently interviewed at a early screening of his new movie and was asked about the rigorous training, fitness regimes, and hectic schedules they keep. Mark went on a tangent about actors and their comparisons to the "Real Deal". Here's what he said via Moviepilot:
For actors to sit there and talk about ‘oh I went to SEAL training’? I don’t give a f-ck what you did. You don't do what these guys did. For somebody to sit there and say my job was as difficult as being in the military? How f-cking dare you, while you sit in a makeup chair for two hours.
People began to wonder who Mark was talking about specifically. Tom Cruise's name was thrown into the mix. In light of the reason headlines of Tom Cruise and his alleged deadbeat dad status, its being reported that the shots were fired at Tom. However this is not true. Tom Cruise has been taking some serious heat lately for the information in he and Katie's divorce papers. Katie and Tom's dirty laundry has been plastered in every weekly magazine and filthy tabloid for the last 2 weeks be it true or not. The papers describe a lawyer making a statement comparing Tom Cruise's hellacious movie schedules and extended time away from his daughter to a U.S. soldier who is or has been in the war and away from their families for extended periods of time. Tom also added that being in the movie Oblivion was like being away at war.
Mark denies that the rant was specifically directed at Tom Cruise. He says:
Mark denies that the rant was specifically directed at Tom Cruise. He says:
“I didn’t know that Tom Cruise was the one who said that,” the 42-year-old Wahlberg told the gossip site. “I love Tom Cruise.”Mark says that he did mean what he said about actors and actresses in general. But he did apologize for the strong language and the insinuation about Tom Cruise. He just feels passionate about respecting the Armed Forces and the hard jobs that they do.
