Ron Burgundy became a pop culture icon after Will Ferrell and several other funny men like Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner, and Seth Rogen (and another pop culture icon Christina Applegate) starred in the movie Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. While its theatrical release was a flop, the DVD sales made it a household name and a staple in pop culture.

Now Ron Burgundy has a sequel to the original coming out called Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Because of his huge popularity Will Ferrell aka Ron Burgundy is doing Dodge car commercials to promote his new movie as well as the major car company. He's everywhere and now hes even on the news! Really the REAL NEWS! Bismarck, N.D. had Ron Burgundy Anchor the News for 30 minutes! I have a snippet of the video below. It was like a normal broadcast but it was just too surreal to see Ron Burgundy in that same suit, in the same tone of voice anchoring the real news. Ron was his usual self; silly, funny, and downright outrageous. I couldn't help but laugh when he started talking and he female anchor next him..oh goodness you just gotta see it for yourself!
