WWE Superstar Jack Swagger aka Jacob Hager, Jr has officially been released from the company.

For the last 3 years, Jack has not been a prominent fixture on the roster of the WWE. As a former ECW champion and former Heavyweight Champion, Jack is no slouch. But for years now he's been nonexistent. There were only 2 rivalries that I can think of that meant anything. He had a rivalry with then newcomer Rusev. Rusev being the brash bruising foreigner and Jack being the all-American hero but that rivalry came to a screeching halt Jack was beaten several times over. Then he had a small on-screen rivalry with Alberto Del Rio when he returned to the WWE. Basically fighting for the rights of their manager Zeb Colter, but even that fizzled. And then he was reduced to playing the role of jobber (a person who constantly loses no matter the circumstances), then nothing for months.

I had been wanting to see Jack get some on screen time and have a successful run for a while. Ever since his disastrous rivalry with Rusev was uneventful and unfulfilling he just hasn't been able to pick up steam. It's just been going downhill ever since. Then a bright spot happens. Jack gets put on Smackdown and gets some air time. I thought finally this could work out in his favor. Smackdown is supposed to be the land of opportunity and with it being so little in the STAR POWER it was the perfect way to boost him to the top. They tried or they gave the illusion that they tried. Giving Jack the beginning of the rivalry with Baron Corbin but eventually scrapping it before it could even start. And then he went with the wind. Never to be seen or heard from again...

Jack's contract was up and when they couldn't come to an agreement he asked to be released from the company. WWE has officially reported his release via various outlets including Bleacher Report and WWE.com.

Sigh....I really like Jack Swagger and I think he would've been a great mid card draw with The Miz or Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown. WWE keeps touting they're changing the landscape and trying something different. However, all I see are carbon copies of Triple H everywhere and no originality except for a select few.

Anyway, good luck Jack Swagger. I hear TNA is taking Alberto Del Rio and going to make him a top priority...hmmm will we be seeing you there as well?!

Ok folks RAW's first standalone pay per view of 2017 starts in an hour or so and here are MY Predictions:

Andrew Luck the quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts has solidified his contract through to 2021! The 26-year-old quarterback will receive 23.3 million a year with a guaranteed 87 million. He is now the highest paid football player in NFL history. Ousting Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens contract which is set at 22 million a year.

Andrew Luck was an amazing pick up for the Colts after Peyton Manning left for Denver. In his first 3 seasons, he was a Pro Bowl pick and he lead his team to the playoffs every year. Until he began to be plagued by injury. Luck suffered a lacerated kidney and a torn abdominal muscle, kept him down to 7 starts and a lousy 2-5 record.

But all that is water under the bridge. The Colts just picked up a major win over the Packers this past Sunday 31-26. Luck didn't start the game inspiring any confidence, though. He threw 2 interceptions in the first half and just about everyone had them counted out. But Luck pushed through and made sure his team understood that the past is the past and they still had a chance to win this. And boy did they win. Turning a damn near indefinite loss to a big win and an absolute confidence booster for the entire organization. Proving that he was well worth the money.


Andrew Luck's contract was finalized after Sunday's winning game. He'll be a Colt for quite some time. Congratulations to Andrew Luck on scoring his huge contract and his big win over Green Bay and good luck with your NFL season and career!

Young Justice is a DC Comic television series that first aired 3 years ago on Cartoon Network. It was well liked by young adults. But after its second season, Cartoon Network decided to go in a different direction and unfortunately for shows like Young Justice they didn't make the cut. Young Justice was critically acclaimed and beloved by many. It even received an Emmy Award for its animation in the episode Independence Day. And when it got canceled they tried to revive the show with crowdfunding but it fell on deaf ears.

However, like many shows that have gotten the ax, Young Justice has been acquired by the streaming service Netflix. Allowing fans old and new to watch the show and become addicted all over again. But with only 2 seasons available to watch it left fans salivating and clamoring for more.
If you've never seen Young Justice I'll give you a synopsis. It tells the story of the young heroes in the world of DC Comics, their struggles, and their need to prove their abilities. Young Justice featured a host of heroes but its main characters are Dick Grayson - Robin/Nightwing, Wally West - Kid Flash, Conner Kent - Superboy, Megan Morse - Miss Martian and Roy Harper - Red Arrow/Arsenal.



The shows creators have now answered the many prayers of fans who wanted the show to continue. Young Justice is getting a 3rd season. They are currently working on it and shopping it around to networks. And of course, Netflix was the first name to come up in the network pool of potentials. Honestly, it's the most viable of the markets. It's got great traction right now with the first 2 seasons, a huge cult following, and its the best place for the show right now. Netflix does a great job at marketing and maintaining interest in tv shows. Currently, they have the most eclectic arsenal of tv shows allowing everyone of any age to find something to watch with extreme satisfaction. From unique shows like Stranger Things to cult classics like Orange is the New Black to huge juggernaut shows like Luke Cage and Daredevil. And if they are continuing in the same vein as the original show I guarantee it will be a HIT!

However, it is currently in the marketplace and as of right now no network has picked it up. Doesn't mean it won't be picked up. It means they are finishing the show and possibly weighing its options with various networks. But if you ask me...Netflix is your network, not Hulu, not Amazon, not CW, NETFLIX!

Joe is one of the most talented R&B artists to date. He has lasted decades and quite honestly no one has his longevity or talent. 12 Studio albums is an amazing feat. From the 90s-2016 he has been consistently pumping out GOOD R&B MUSIC.

I've been a fan of his since I was a kid. I have a love affair with R&B I listen to it every day and Joe is my go to R&B crooner. I've listened to every album he's made from Everything to Bridges, he just mellows me and I can't stop listening to him. I have my favorites All That I Am, My Name is Joe, Better Days, And Then..., Ain't Nothin Like Me, and Joe Thomas, New Man are just my top fave albums!

Now he has a new album named #MYNAMEISJOETHOMAS and I can't wait to hear it!

Oh, Lawd Have Mercy.....Listen I was never invested in this show, to begin with but I did see clips online and from that alone, I was very turned off.

This show is so bizarre and way off the mark of a typical E! reality show. It really begs to ask the question: What was E! thinking?

Let me break this down for those of you who aren't invested in this. Rob and Blac Chyna are engaged and she's currently pregnant with their little girl. Rob and Angela aka Black Chyna bonded sometime ago. She was his friend, she cooked for him and helped him lose weight. She helped him come out that several year funk he was in. It seemed to be helping him get back to himself. However last year rumors began to surface that a reality show was in the works after the announcement of their engagement and Angela's pregnancy.

So you take a guy who is basically depressed and has been described as a hermit. Shove cameras in his face 24/7 and expect him to show up and be ready to film? Yeah, that was a GREAT idea! SMDH

The show itself is pretty straight forward. It chronicles the life, engagement, and pregnancy of  the soon to be Angela and Rob Kardashian. From the beginning you can see this relationship is not normal. Rob looks uncomfortable on camera. Meanwhile, Chyna lives for the spotlight and has no problem performing for the cameras. Doing dumb ish like making fun of him on camera calling him a momma's boy. Emasculating him and finding every reason you can to treat him like shit! Listening to her friends and blowing up about a phone. He's going through her phone cause he doesn't trust her. Hiding from the cameras. Refusing to go out. Sigh....Just sad and ratchet! This is the kind of ish you see on VH1, not E!

You would think with all that going on, it would be the fake antics that would get the show cancelled. NO! They don't want to renew the show because of ROB! Rob isn't on camera enough and when he is its hard to get anything out of them. The executives are not sold on the second season of the show and if they give it the green light, Rob's involvement must be 100%. However, if they decide not renew they are considering giving Chyna her own show. Which is what they should've done in the first place. And considering the recent blowup Rob had on twitter tweeting out his sister's phone number, getting into it with Blac Chyna allegedly ending their engagement who knows if their show will get renewed!

First of all, if Blac Chyna really loved him the cameras none of that would matter. She would be focused on him first. Yeah, he's a momma's boy but you're not helping by getting on national tv with your friends and dogging him out. I really hope that you focus on your daughter and get Rob help professionally (like a therapist or psychiatrist). He needs help dealing with his issues and right now you nor the Kardashian brood can help him.

But I hope they do cancel the show. Give Chyna her own show. Then Rob can make an appearance or not. But don't focus on them, focus on Blac Chyna. Oh please, Blac Chyna leave your mother out of your relationship. You talk about Rob and his mom. But your mother is going through your man's phone for what? That's none of her business. But hey that's just me and my opinion.

Nicki's Anaconda is a sex fueled song pure and simple. I don't mind it. She was very clever about it though. Sampling Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back". A sexually charged song not meant for anyone under the age of 18. And with that being said there was MAJOR backlash about this cover art. I've seen Beyonce's full butt in her videos as of late and seeing Nicki's is no different. I see nothing wrong with Nicki's butt being out. If she wasn't so large in that department, it might not be such a problem. Anyway the song is catchy and youthful. Something that the younger generation and those of us who like Nicki's style of music would appreciate. I'm waiting on the video! I want to see this lap dance she gives Drake. In the pictures he seems to be really into it I just want to see his face. Cause I know it going to be hilarious! LOL.

Fifty Shades of Grey is finally releasing its trailer and it looks really intense but I can't go by the trailer. Sometimes these movies show the greatest parts during the trailer. But I will try to be optimistic! The trailer was so exclusive that it was first released on the Today Show. Which was interesting. I mean there was plenty of hype and buzz. No need for the exclusivity. The internet would've spread this faster than the Today Show. I mean seriously! Many times I've wanted to read this book series and I actually have the first book. I just haven't taken the time to sit down and read it. It seems very much like an extremely sexy yet naive coming of age story. Which doesn't appeal to me. I started reading it a while back but I just didn't finish it. However I want to read it before I see the movies. If this movie does well which I expect it to, then the second and third books will be put into film form as well. And just for a little bit more of an incentive: Beyonce is on the soundtrack for this film. She is reviving and remixing one of her biggest singles: Crazy in Love. Its going to be edgier, slower, and intense. Right along the lines of the films.

Notice how well ABC has been doing with Once Upon A Time. Probably the most popular television show in the Sunday time slot. Using the greatest stories of all time as their basis and building an entirely new story all while breathing new life into the Disney tales. It was a genius concept that was well received by millions of fans!

Jessie J hasn't been heard from in a while. She debuted a single last November called Thunder off of her album Alive but it didn't do as well as her previous album. I had no idea she was still releasing music. Alive was released overseas only and hasn't debuted in the United States. I hadn't heard or seen anything from her in a while since her album Who You Are. If you've never heard of Jessie J she is a UK native and her most popular singles were Price Tag, Nobody's Perfect, Domino and Who's Laughing Now. And now she's debuting her new single Bang Bang featuring Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. Little Ariana with the booming voice is making BIG moves with her singles and upcoming album. Ariana rocked the charts with her single Problem featuring Iggy Azalea and now she's featured on Jessie J's single Bang Bang. Lending the record her smooth, high pitched vocals Ariana is definitely going to help take this single to new heights. Bang Bang also features Nicki Minaj, she lends a rough edgy feel to the track. Nicki is another one of my favorite artists. I like her strong quirky personality. She's a woman after my own heart. Not afraid to be boisterous and funky all while being a glamorous beauty. When all three of these women get together its a great mash up. Jessie J is a strong vocalist and her sound is unique. On this song her voice booms but it doesn't overpower Ariana or Nicki. They all seem to compliment each other well.

Bang Bang will be the first single off of Jessie J's new album (no word on that either) and will be a bonus track on the Deluxe Edition of Ariana Grande's new album My Everything. My Everything is set to be released on August 25th of this year! Nicki Minaj also has an album coming out called the Pink Print (no word on the official release date). So Tiny is making music again. The last time we heard her actually sing a song was when she was in the group Xscape. Tiny has been in the business a long time. She is a very accomplished songwriter and producer. She is very much involved in her daughters girl group the OMG Girlz. Tiny's just a ball of talent and I really like her.

But this song....Let me say this first I do like the music to the song. Its got that old 90s sound to it, but if I'm being completely honest I gotta say its not my cup of tea. Similar to K. Michelle's music I can only listen to the cussing and sad vibes for so long. I know R&B is about love, breakups, makeups, new relationships, fun, sex, parties, etc. Its just I have my limitations on who I can and will listen to on a regular basis. Nothing is wrong with Tiny's song if you enjoy this kind of music.

Another strange thing is the inclusion of her husband and the problems that have been swirling around as far as rumors of cheating. Including the drama with Floyd Mayweather. Its a bit much to put out a song that will do nothing but add fuel to the fire. I'm not saying she should be able to make music that chronicles her life or that may mimic it. I'm just saying if you know the rumors aren't true then don't play up to them with your music. It will be not good for you in the long run.





No word on when the new album will be released but I will keep you updated.

One of my favorite Braxton's has released a new single. Traci Braxton released a single called Last Call. A mix between a ballad and a autotune. Traci's voice is different from her sisters Tamar and Toni. Traci has a smoother and softer voice. Allowing for her to sing very different music and stand out from the crowd. I think given the right style of music she can be a music sensation. I think Traci should stick to true R&B. I like this song Last Call. She's got great vocals but I think its being covered up by the Autotune. I hope Traci nurtures her music and grows. She's an awesome talent and I wish her nothing but the best!

Traci's new album is titled Crash and Burn. It is said to be released this fall.

There is no other way to describe it this song is wack. Let me get this out the way I've never been a fan of French Montana so I don't expect much out of him but I'm a huge fan of Wale and I'm shocked he even agreed to be on this garbage. As far as Fabolous goes he's cool haven't really heard much from him and I'm not a big fan of his either so I'm just like "eh, whatever" on him being on the track.

There was nothing to this song, nothing at all. The song sounds like it was made in 2 minutes on the fruity loops studio. When I was a kid this software was free and the guys would make these quick tracks that really had no quality or substance to them at all. These guys weren't professionals they were playing around with software and created music that quite frankly...sucked!

The lyrics for this song features artists that are out now. But I'm confused...since when is Miley Cyrus a R&B Chick? She is pop but not even close to R&B. Hell Ashanti is barely R&B. SMDH I don't care what ya'll say this song is stupid there was no reason to for it ever have been made.


Listen to this ridiculousness for yourself and you tell me if its GARBAGE! No matter what you say I will not change my mind. Its a stupid song and isn't worth the 4 minutes.

With all the drama, excitement and absolute love surrounding Magic Mike's success (BTW: there is a sequel coming out soon!), it was only a small amount of time before and urban version of the movie would coming to a DVD or hopefully fingers crossed a theater near you.

I have yet to sit down and watch Magic Mike all they way through. I love Channing Tatum but I gotta admit I wasn't as into the movie as I thought I would be. The eye candy of Joe Manganiello (True Blood, One Tree Hill), Channing Tatum (22 Jumpstreet, The Vow, White House Down), Adam Rodriguez (Delco! - CSI Miami, I Can Do Bad ALL By Myself), Matt Bomer (Neal Caffrey, White Collar!), Alex Pettyfer (Endless Love, I Am Number 4)  Kevin Nash (Big Sexy! Any wrestling fans out there? LOL, DOA: Dead or Alive) and of course Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club, MUD) was enticing. I mean come on these guys are very attractive. But with that being said the movie was geared toward the style of a Chippendales type of thing and that just wasn't appealing to me.

Chocolate City will be the complete opposite of Magic Mike. It has to be. Because the world of Exotic Dancing for the Males is a whole other ball game. It's a multi-million dollar business. Women pay thousands of dollars to see their favorite guys dance. Its seedy, gritty, sexy, and very very raunchy!  I'm assuming for the movie it will be cleaned up a bit but do some research on facebook, YouTube and Google. You will find an abundance of videos and photos of male exotic dancers who take it to the max! Full frontal nudity, partial nudity, sexual suggestion, oh my goodness it would make a nun PASS OUT!

Anyway Chocolate City will star Michael Jai White, Tyson Beckford (You know I've never found him attractive? He's not what I would consider sexy. But whatever works for the rest of the world I guess.), along with Romeo Miller in the leading role (still unsure if this is fully true gotta do some more research) and Eruika Pratt will play his love interest. Jean-Claude LaMarre will also star and direct in this film. If your unsure of who Jean-Claude LaMarre is he is a popular Indie film director. He directed Gang of Roses I and Gang of Roses II: The Next Generation. His latest film was Color of the Cross.

So here's the basic synopsis of the film:

Chocolate City will follow the life of a young college kid named Devin. Who gets enthralled in the seedy world of Male Exotic Dancing because his money troubles. He runs into the owner of a male strip club who convinces him to try out for amateur night. One night and Devin is hooked on money and the sea of screaming women. But in that time Devin makes a strong enemy in Adrian the former star attraction. Adrian begins to see his star fading and knows that his time is running out as long as Devin is still in play. Devin struggles to juggle his relationship with his girlfriend Carmen, school and his new found fame. But most of all he's having an internal battle himself. Religiously this is wrong and he knows he shouldn't be doing it. But the money is good and he just can't seem to keep himself away. Eventually Devin will have to chose: Will it be money, fame, and popularity? Or will it be Carmen, religion, and peace of mind?

According to Deadline, LaMarre has been working on this project for over 2 years (prior to Magic Mike's 2012 release) and when Magic Mike came out it reassured LaMarre Chocolate City was definitely a film that needed to be made. The basis for the film is similar. Money troubles, stripping, fame and popularity, jealous girlfriend, etc. The big glaring difference of course is the cultures and the religious aspect. Not sure on the rest of the cast. I'm sure there will be more eye candy for us gurls to drool over. LOL Guess we'll have to see how this all turns out!

Chocolate City was set to film this past June. No word on when the film will be released but I will keep you posted when it comes down!

For those who don't know about the show WhoDunnit? let me recap for you guys. WhoDunnit is a murder mystery show like Clue. All the contestants are invited to live in this lavish house for several weeks but in that time each one of the contestants will be bumped off in the most extreme way. To survive the killer and his/her extreme killing ways they have to solve each contestants murder and describe the murder as well as tell the who the murderer is (the murderer is one of the contestants if you haven't figured this out by now). There are always 3 designated areas of interest to look at: The Morgue, The Last Known Whereabouts, and the actual Crime Scene. Gather as many clues as you can in the time allotted. Afterward there is time to gather as much information from other contestants (if they are willing to share) and conclude who is the killer and what their weapon of choice was. Then you are taken to a den to convey to the killer your findings. Who ever is the closest to solving the crimes will be saved. Who ever makes a mistake will be up for elimination. In terms of WhoDunnit? they will be "Scared". During each dinner (after a murder) every contestant will receive a card in an envelope revealing if they are up for elimination or safe. The card will read SCARED or SPARED. If the card reads scared then the killer is targeting you for a potential murder. At the end of the game its a race against time and 2 other contestants to resolve who actually is the murderer and win $250,000.

No you did not read that wrong! Tupac Shakur is on Broadway! Not literally in the flesh but yes his music has been turned into a play on Broadway. The play entitled Holler If Ya Hear Me is a strong and direct reflection of the lifestyle that Tupac portrayed and ultimately experienced in his music.

Written by Todd Kreidler and Directed by Kenny Leon. It stars legendary rapper and poet Saul Williams.

Holler If Ya Hear Me is currently running on Broadway at the Palace Theater. Its a raw gritty play that would not be a normal Broadway musical fan's cup of tea. Many reviews have said that the show has a slow start but it well worth the wait. Its not a musical the director, writer, and producer stress that. Writer Todd Kreidler wrote the play to incorporate Tupac's lyrics instead of simply using his music as a backdrop. Many critics were very happy with the end result of the play and are encouraging people from all walks of life to see the play.

Tupac was a visionary in his time and many people to this day still debate if he or Biggie Smalls are the greatest rapper of all time. Tupac's music was timeless. Although at times it was vulgar and violent. It was real. His depiction of life in the ghetto was not far off my own experience growing up in the projects. Drugs, sex, teen pregnancy, violence, deaths, gangs, too many horrors that we were exposed to as children and adults. The only way some people could escape was through music.

Tupac was a very intelligent man. He attended the Baltimore School for the Arts where he studied acting, jazz, ballet and poetry. When he moved to California took poetry classes in high school. He was very talented and its a shame that his life was cut so short. Tupac's birthday was June 16th, he would've been 43 years old.

In case you have forgotten what this movie is about let me refresh your memory:

Zoe Reynard has the perfect life: excellent career, beautiful house, financially stable, loving/FAITHFUL husband, wonderful children. But she can't help but feel like she's missing something. This movie was adapted from the novel of the same name Addicted by Zane. It really is a great read. I opted for the audio version of this book and let me tell you it was intense. I couldn't stop listening to this book for days. And when it was over I listened to it again. Zane is a great erotic writer but she also makes it very clear in her books that the eroticism is just the tip of the iceberg. If you've never read her books you should. You would be pleasantly surprised by what you hear or read. Depending on how you prefer to receive the information ;).

Ariana Grande's newest single Problem dropped a few weeks ago and took the world by storm. Its a trendy upbeat pop single with hints of the past. Ariana Grande is a powerhouse singer and with new comer Iggy Azalea featured on the track it was sure to begin its climb on the pop charts. With all the success and mystery surrounding the single the next logical question people would ask is: "I wonder what the video will look like?"


With the hints Ariana was dropping on her twitter and instagram accounts up until the songs actual debut I assumed that majority of the video would have a strong 60s vibe and I was right. The video does wink at the past a lot but its very sporadic and all over the place. You would think that it would have been put together better but sadly it was not.


From the beginning its a very confusing video. Grande is noticeably lip syncing which I can deal with honestly its no big deal. Its a music video. Its just not something I'm used to. Most artists will sing or rap the lyrics as they are being played. To ensure what is being presented is authentic. The next thing that was perplexing (yeah I just used that word) was the weird hugging of the arms thing she was doing. It looked forced and out of place [see video at 2:39]. It just didn't look right like something was off.


Honestly it wasn't a total waste it was just little pieces in the video that felt out of place. It looked like it wasn't well thought out and everything that was done was being rushed. At first I was disappointed with the video. There were so many avenues that could've been taken with this song. I'm a fan of both Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande and will continue to be. It wasn't a bad reflection on either of the artist. This is a reflection on the director and the team behind the concept/execution of the video. Either way its just my opinion formulate your own and let me know whether you like or nah as the kids these days say (BTW: Why do they say that? Where did that come from? Dude, I'm only 27 and I swear I don't where these new age kids come from I'm so lost in the sauce. I'm just gonna stick to my old school and keep it pushing.)
